Amoxil is the antibiotic of penicillinic series and is used at treatment of several infectious illnesses: gonorrhea, pneumonia, bronchitis and some other.

Amoxil (Amoxicillin)
Amoxil is applied at therapy of different infectious deseases, caused by bacteria, sensitive to it. Such deseases as inflammation of the integument, the middle ear, tonsils, throat, urinary tract infections, laryngitis, acute bronchitis, pneumonia; from sexually transmitted diseases - gonorrhea.
Take Amoxil before or after meal.
Basic doses of Amoxil in the majority of diseases are:
250 mg or 500 mg every 8 hours
500mg or 875mg every 12 hours
depending on the disease and its severity.
At gonorrhea therapy Amoxil should be taken once, dose - 3g.
Children up to three months and weighing less than 40 kg Amoxil should be applied in:
20 mg / kg / day every 8 hours at several doses
25 mg / kg / day every 12 hours at several doses
40 mg / kg / day every 8 hours at several doses
or 45 mg / kg / day every 12 hours at several doses
depending on the disease and its severity.
Amoxil - antibacterial Penicillin broad-spectrum antibiotic.
Antibiotics of such class has the same effect - they don\'t kill bacteria, they inhibit the synthesis of cell wall during period of their growth and mitosis. Due to this process bacteria dies.
Amoxil is effective against aerobic gram-positive bacteria: Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp. (except for strains, producing penicillinase); and gram-negative aerobic bacteria: Neisseria meningitidis, Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Shigella spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Klebsiella spp. Microorganisms, producing penicillinase, have resistance to the action of Amoxil.
Administer the missed dose as it will be possible, don\'t take more than prescribed dose to avoid side-effects.
Store Amoxil ate the temperature 20-25 C (68-77 F) at a dry, well protected from high temperature place, out of reach of cheldren.
